Ancient Messina

• Ancient Messina is open daily until 15:00.
• Next to the archaeological park there is a tavern. In it you can have a bite to eat, but most importantly, enjoy the views all over Ancient Messina and the mountains.

How to get

From Kalamata: from the bus station take a bus to Mavromati, from where it is most convenient to get to Messina by cab (about 20 euros). There are also direct buses from Kalamata to Ancient Messina, but only on Mondays and Thursdays. The first one leaves at 5:30.
