Route: Balos - Gramvousa Island
Trip to Balos and Gramvousa Island View route
Our trip will start early in the morning from Chania old port.
While enjoying gorgeous views of Crete, we will cruise to our main destination –Balos beach –to enjoy its famous lagoon from parts not accessible by crowds.
This beautiful beach is one of the most unusual ones in Greece, or probably even in the world. It’s a gorgeous tropical lagoon with white and pink sands & lots of seashells. This place is protected natural area.
The crystal-clear blue water will provide you with a heavenly experience.
Overflowing with the beauty of this place, we're going to move on, as there is one more surprise for you. Next to Balos, there is a tiny uninhabited island – Gramvousa. Itoffers a beautiful beach and snorkeling area, providing you with a chance to visit the remnants of a Venetian located at the top of the island.

Early in the morning we will start our trip from Chania old port. Our first stop will be Menies beach: Gorgeous private beach with pebbles can offer you the chance to enjoy swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters and visit the ruins of the ancient temple dating back to 530 BC, as well as the remnants of ancient harbor.
After Menies beach, we will head to Choironisia. It is a small bay accessible only by the sea, with deep crystal blue waters and small caves.There you will have a chance to enjoy snorkeling and exploring wonderful sea caves.
Our last stop will be Thodorou island. This natural protected island is the habitat of the famous wild goats of Crete, also known as kri-kri.

Let’s go to a beautiful small island Thodorou for relaxation, swimming and diving. View route
This gorgeous small island is very close to the Old venetian port of Chania. On our way you will have an opportunity to enjoy beautiful views of Chania.
The Thodorou island will impressyou with the variety of rare plants and animals, as it is natural protected area.
On the southern part of the island, above a huge cave we will see the ruins of Venetian castle build in 1537.
After we take some impressing photos, we will head to the northern side of the island. Those ‘untouched by humans’ places called ‘black wall’. Here we will have an opportunity to see the famous Cretan kri-kri goats.
We will make a stop to enjoy swimming, snorkeling and fishing in crystal-clear waters. By the way , somewhere there, hidden under the sea, there is wreck of the German aircraft ‘Junker 52’ of the World War II.
